About Playground Removal Services

Swing sets, slides, and playground structures are great when kids use them, but they become eyesores and safety hazards when they're no longer needed. Broken equipment can injure someone. Rusted structures look bad and take up space. Dismantling and removing playground equipment yourself is dangerous work that requires tools and time you don't have.

We remove complete playgrounds and individual pieces. Whether it's a metal swing set that's been in your backyard for years, a wooden playset that's rotting, or an entire commercial playground structure at a school or park facility, we dismantle it safely and haul it away. Our crew has the tools and experience to handle any size or material.

Clearing your yard or property opens up space for other uses and eliminates a potential liability. We remove the equipment, dispose of it responsibly, and leave your property clean. Most playground removals are done in a single afternoon.

Not sure it qualifies?

Call and describe it. If it fits in the truck and it is legal to haul, it goes. Hazardous materials are the short list we cannot take.

How playground removal works

Four steps from the first call to a swept-clean space, with the price agreed before anything is lifted.

Step 1

Tell us about your playground

Call (509) 266-0418 and describe the equipment. Is it metal or wood? How many pieces? Is it all in one spot or spread out? Any broken or unstable parts? We ask enough questions to quote accurately.

Step 2

We provide a flat-rate estimate

Based on the size, type, and condition of your equipment, we give you an upfront price. Removal costs depend on how many pieces, whether equipment is bolted down, and how far we need to haul.

Step 3

Our crew dismantles safely

We bring tools for bolts, welds, and rust. Equipment is carefully taken apart so it can be hauled piece by piece. We pad and secure everything so nothing falls during transport.

Step 4

Hauled away and recycled

Metal structures go to scrap yards where they're recycled. Wood is sent to recycling centers that accept it, or chipped. We handle the entire disposal process so you don't have to.

Frequently
asked

The questions Spokane customers ask most, answered straight. Anything not covered here, call and ask.

See all FAQs
Do you remove playground equipment that's bolted into concrete?
Yes. If equipment is bolted or anchored to concrete, we bring tools to remove bolts and cut through welds if needed. Anchored equipment takes longer than free-standing structures, but we handle it.
Can you remove a playground that's partially broken or rusted?
Absolutely. Broken, rusted, unstable, or damaged playground equipment is exactly what we remove. Rusted bolts and loose parts don't stop us. Safety-compromised equipment is often our highest priority.
What if the playground is on a slope or in hard-to-reach areas of my property?
Terrain challenges don't prevent removal. We navigate uneven ground and difficult access. If your playground is in a backyard behind a narrow gate, we figure out how to get it out.
Do you remove the concrete pads or anchors the equipment sat on?
We remove the playground equipment and haul it away. Concrete removal is a separate service and may require additional equipment and cost. We can quote concrete removal separately if needed.
How do you dispose of playground equipment?
Metal equipment goes to scrap yards for recycling where they accept it. Wooden structures are chipped or sent to composting facilities. Materials are processed responsibly, and we keep what we can out of the landfill.
Can you remove a large commercial playground structure?
Yes. We handle school playgrounds, municipal parks, and large commercial structures. The scale doesn't change our process. Bigger jobs just need more time and may require multiple trips.
Will playground removal damage my lawn or landscaping?
We try to minimize damage. Equipment removal may compact grass or leave marks where structures stood. Significant damage is rare, especially on level ground. We discuss site preparation when you call.
