About Hot Tub Removal Services

A hot tub takes up significant space and weight. Whether it no longer works, you are replacing it, or you simply need the space back, removal is a job for professionals. Legend Junk Removal has removed hundreds of hot tubs from Spokane patios, decks, and basements. We handle the entire job from start to finish.

Hot tub removal involves more than just hauling. The tub must be drained, disconnected from any plumbing, and carefully dismantled if it is built in or installed. Our crew knows how to work safely with heavy equipment and awkward spaces. We have removed fiberglass shells from decks, acrylic tubs from patios, and portable models from basements.

You get one upfront price covering the full removal, haul-away, and debris cleanup. We quote the job on-site so you know exactly what to expect. Same-day service is often available for Spokane area residents.

How hot tub removal works

Four steps from the first call to a swept-clean space, with the price agreed before anything is lifted.

Step 1

Call and describe the tub

Tell us the size, type, and location. We ask if it is already drained and if there are any built-in structures. We provide an upfront estimate right away.

Step 2

Drain the water

You empty the tub before our arrival. If you need guidance on safe drainage, we can walk you through it by phone.

Step 3

We dismantle and haul

Our crew handles the heavy lifting, cuts up large pieces if needed, and loads everything onto our trucks for safe disposal.

Step 4

Space is cleared

We finish the removal, haul away all debris, and leave your outdoor space ready to use. Payment is collected before we leave.

Hot Tub Removal questions

Frequently
asked

The questions Spokane customers ask most, answered straight. Anything not covered here, call and ask.

See all FAQs
Can you remove a built-in hot tub?
Yes. All you need to do is drain the tub completely, and we handle the rest. We dismantle it piece by piece and haul every part away, regardless of how it is installed or anchored.
What about the concrete pad underneath?
We remove the tub itself and any wooden structures around it. Concrete pad demolition requires a specialized quote. Let us know if you need that as well, and we can include it.
How long does removal take?
Most removals finish in two to four hours. Larger tubs or complex installations may take longer. We confirm the timeline when you call for your free estimate.
Is removal expensive?
Pricing depends on the tub size, installation type, and access. We quote the full job upfront before starting work, so you know exactly what you will pay.
Do you recycle or donate hot tubs?
We haul them to area recycling and disposal facilities. Recyclable materials are handled responsibly. We do not disassemble for parts.
What if the tub is damaged or broken?
No problem. Broken tubs are actually easier to dismantle. We cut them into manageable pieces and load everything away safely.
