About Light Demolition Services

Light demolition means removing structures that are smaller than a house. A detached garage. A backyard shed. A deck or porch. A carport or outbuilding. These jobs require precision and planning. Our crew handles the deconstruction, protects your property, and hauls the debris away. We quote the full job upfront before we start.

Spokane property owners choose light demolition when they need the space, want to build something new, or have to clear a structure before selling. We work carefully so the surrounding landscape and your home itself stay intact. We dismantle structures methodically, salvage what can be salvaged, and remove everything else responsibly.

Small structures often sit in tight spaces between properties or in backyards with limited access. We know how to plan the job so trucks can reach what they need to reach. Licensed and insured, we work to code and respect your neighbors while the job is underway.

Not sure it qualifies?

Call and describe it. If it fits in the truck and it is legal to haul, it goes. Hazardous materials are the short list we cannot take.

How light demolition works

Four steps from the first call to a swept-clean space, with the price agreed before anything is lifted.

Step 1

Site assessment

We visit the property, measure the structure, check for obstacles, and plan the safest removal method. We discuss utility lines, neighboring properties, and any salvage you want to keep.

Step 2

Upfront quote

Based on size, material, and access, we provide one total price. You approve it on the spot. No surprises when the bill comes.

Step 3

Demolition and debris removal

Our crew arrives with equipment and a truck. We carefully dismantle the structure and load all debris. We protect surrounding landscaping and structures as we work.

Step 4

Site cleanup and final walkthrough

The area is swept and cleared. We review the space with you and take photos confirming the job is complete before we leave.

Light Demolition questions

Frequently
asked

The questions Spokane customers ask most, answered straight. Anything not covered here, call and ask.

See all FAQs
Do you check for asbestos or hazardous materials?
We inspect visually during the estimate. If a structure appears to contain asbestos, lead paint, or other hazards, we discuss that during the quote. Hazmat abatement is a specialized job and may require separate contractors.
Can you salvage wood, metal, or other materials?
Yes. If you want certain boards, fixtures, or metal saved, let us know during the estimate. We set those aside and you can collect them.
What if a utility line runs near or under the structure?
Call 811 before we arrive for a free underground utility locate. We never dig or demolish until utilities are marked. We work safely around all lines.
Do I need a permit for light demolition?
Permit requirements vary by city and structure type. Your city building department can tell you. We answer questions during the estimate and can discuss typical requirements.
How much debris does a typical shed demolition produce?
A 10x12 shed produces roughly one to two truckloads of mixed materials. We give you an estimate based on the structure size and material.
What if there are stairs or a foundation?
We remove the structure itself. Concrete foundations and stairs may require separate concrete removal services. We quote that separately if needed.
